The strength of OttawaNPservices comes from a commitment to two guiding principles. First, we provide exclusive, comprehensive, and integrated medical and related services. Secondly, we value your time

Who is a Nurse Practitioner (NP)?

Nurse Practitioners (NP) are Registered Nurses (RN) who have done further training in the diagnosis and management of medical conditions. NP’s assess, diagnose, treat and monitor a wide range of health problems. They also provide preventative care, such as baby checks, well-woman checkups, family planning, health screening, and education …. (more)

Who regulates Nurse Practitioners?

The College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) regulates nurse practitioners …. (more)

What do I offer?

I offer a private service in acute (episodic) care, chronic illnesses management, chronic pain management  (including pharmaceutical and holistic approaches), and medical cannabis consultation and prescribing. The NP service can include minor procedures, such as trigger point, trigger finger …. (more)  The service can be provided at a client’s home (home visits), at a medical office (by appointment), by phone, and online.

I am striving to provide effective, comprehensive, and patient-centered health care services, including those which emphasize health and wellness promotion, and prevention of illness for individuals and families who encounter barriers to health care.

Who is a private service for?

The private service is filling in gaps in the health care system, where many patients do not have a primary care provider, such as new immigrants, foreign workers, students, tourists and visitors, and those who would prefer to not spend long hours waiting in a hospital emergency department or at a walk-in-clinic. Since the current Canadian health system does not support home visits, I would like to offer the service.

I believe that everyone is entitled to the highest quality care provided on time in a trusting/safe environment where I take the time and treat you as my family member with empathy and compassion.

How is the service paid?

The private NP service can be paid by cash, cheque, or e-transfer. Some forms’ completion fee can be paid directly through a client’s private insurance or WSIB (e.g., WSIB, special diet allowance form, etc.)

What are my NP goal and responsibilities?

My goal is to provide personalized, compassionate, high-quality care services for my patients and their families.

I am committed to providing holistic health care, which means that your physical, mental, and emotional health will be taken into consideration as a whole when treatment and management options are suggested and implemented. I will work with you to help you achieve your health goals, to improve your health and well-being. I provide health education and preventative care to help you now and in the future.
