Acute & Episodic Care

Episodic care focuses on the evaluation and treatment of new or short-term health concerns. These visits are problem-focused and designed to address a specific issue during a single appointment, with follow-up arranged if needed.
What to expect during visit:
—Focused history and assessment.
—Examination as appropriate.
—Diagnosis and treatment plan.
—Prescriptions or investigations if indicated.
—Clear guidance on follow-up.
What Episodic Care does not include:
—Long-term chronic disease management.
—Complex, multi-issue assessments.
—Routine physicals or preventive exams.
—Comprehensive mental-health assessments.

Virtual / in-person

Some episodic concerns may be suitable for virtual assessment.
In-person clinic visits are recommended when a physical examinations and/or procedures are required.
